Why we launched a plant-based diffuser
The hair extensions company is selling fragrance diffusers? Yes, we are. We just released Ambiance, a new product in an entirely new category for us.
When manufacturing hair extensions, waste is inevitable, as is the case with most manufacturing processes. We considered our fiber waste and our commitment to environmental sustainability and thought…
Why not create something beautiful with every part of our process?
This moment invigorated us to create. We often speak on the benefits of our plant-based fibers in hair extensions: lightweight, hypoallergenic, and 100% plastic-free. But one particular quality of our fibers got our creative wheels turning — moisture retention. In contrast to synthetic fibers in hair extensions, our plant-based fibers are far better at distributing moisturizing products like oils and mousses throughout the hair.
Enter fragrance diffusers. If our plant-fibers can distribute oils in hair products better than synthetic fibers, wouldn’t the same apply to distributing fragrance oils? Diffusers are no stranger to synthetic fibers in the reeds that lift the fragrance into the air. So, we did our favorite thing to do: swap out synthetic fibers for plant-based fibers.
